Expected Learning Outcomes

The expected learning outcomes at the end of the training course will be the following: - knowledge and familiarity with the use of standardized tests for the evaluation of prerequisites and school learning in the various cycles (methods of administration, scoring and interpretation of scores); - definition of the strengths and weaknesses of the learning profile; - identification of the objectives and strategies for strengthening difficulties in reading, writing and calculation; - acquisition of basic skills for a possible independent study of the topics covered, providing indications on the possibility of finding additional training through bibliographic research and in-depth courses.

Frontal laboratory activities and individual and small group practical exercises.

Required prerequisites: - basic knowledge of the definition of specific learning disabilities

Detailed Course Content

Course contents - Evaluation of prerequisites for school learning: o Evaluation of Metaphonological Skills CMF; o Evaluation of the Prerequisites for Learning Reading and Writing PRCR-2; - Evaluation of reading skills: o Scoring speed and accuracy; o MT-3 tests (reading passage comprehension, accuracy, speed), Advanced MT-3 tests, MT 16-19; o Reading words DDE-2. - Evaluation of writing skills: o Dictation of words, non-words, sentences containing homophones DDE-2; o Orthographic dictation BVSCO-2; o Synthetic scale for the evaluation of writing in developmental age BHK. - Evaluation of numerical and calculation skills o Battery for the Diagnosis of Dyscalculia. - Clinical Cases Evaluation, scoring, identification of objectives, reporting and writing of clinical report.
