Expected Learning Outcomes

The professional training activities are aimed at promoting the integration of the theoretical contents of the frontal lessons of the 1st and 2nd semester with theoretical-practical professional skills.

The general training objective is to transfer methods, techniques and practices of speech therapy practice with particular regard to evaluation methodologies, preparation of the speech therapy assessment, planning and monitoring of the rehabilitation intervention in the pathologies being studied in the second year within the teaching of Applied medical technical sciences MED/50.

Attendance of Lessons

Attendance of lessons is mandatory in accordance with the University regulations

Detailed Course Content

- evaluation and treatment of swallowing 
-disorder dysphagia in childhood;
-Evaluation and treatment of Specific Language Disorder (SLD), 
-Phonological Phonetic Disorder and Language Disorder related to hearing loss in children with hearing aids or with cochlear implants;
-Evaluation and treatment of verbal fluency disorders in developmental age
-Evaluation and treatment of Specific Learning Disabilities (DSA);
- Evaluation and treatment of developmental dyspraxia
- Evaluation and treatment of organic, functional and infantile dysphonias
